Position:
We are looking for a well-rounded, customer service minded IT professional with excellent communications skills to help manage the many diverse systems in our office environment which spreads across our global offices.
Proficient in Windows 2003 through 2012R2 Server, Exchange 2003/2010/2013, Active Directory, CentOS 6/Linux with NIS/LDAP/Kerberos integration, Lync 2013 and clustered server environments, Sharepoint administration, SAN management, iSCSI storage connectivity, experience in VMware and VMware ESXi clusters, Citrix Xenserver and Citrix XenCenter, HP Blade server environments, Cisco Catalyst and ASA firewall, Sonicwall NSA Firewall and SSLVPN configuration, Microsoft SQL Server, Symantec Backup Exec 2012, and Exagrid de-dupe backup technologies.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist with maintaining and supporting a global 24x7 Corporate environment across multiple geographically dispersed offices.
Assist with maintaining and troubleshooting the end user workstations.
Assist with the provision and deployment of end user workstations and laptops running Windows 7/8 & Office 2010/2013/365.
Assist with Active Directory and Exchange administration.
Assist with the design, build and maintenance of Corporate networks and systems using latest technologies available satisfying company security policies.
Assist in the development, testing, and launch of projects, and development of standards.
Provide problem resolution of systems and networks for local and remote users.
Responsible for hardware and software procurement and installation.
Requirements:
Applicants must have a minimum of 5+ years experience in a Microsoft Enterprise environment.
Knowledge of Windows 2003-2012 Active Directory Domains and TCP/IP are expected.
Must be able to install servers and workstations, deploy VMware ESXi in a highly available cluster configuration using SAN technologies and troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
Must be a highly motivated self starter who can manage time and resources.
The job is a challenging position that requires hard work and flexibility. Night and weekend work is expected from time to time. Travel may be required on occasion.
Excellent business communication, writing and interpersonal skills are essential.
